Yutaro started skateboarding in the 3rd grade of elementary school and began surfing in the 1st year of junior high school influenced by his friends.

We first met when Yutaro made a custom board through Kazuo of Rhetoric Surf, who Yutaro used to go to when he was in Australia.

Combining skateboarding style with stylish surfing and possessing a unique worldview, Yutaro has been active as a team rider for Kumasurfboards since 2021.

In addition to Japan’s pro tour, he is looking forward to future endeavors such as editing free surfing videos and collaborating with friends on the brand See You Later.

“Endless Change,” edited by Yutaro Saito, is a must-watch clip packed with impressive surfing and skateboarding riding filmed in Chigasaki, his hometown, showcasing waves from 2022.
